2025 PSMFM 27th Annual Convention

The 27th PSMFM Annual Convention was held at the Novotel Manila – Araneta City last November 29-30, 2025 with the theme, “Maternal Fetal Medicine in the 21st Century: Innovations, Challenges, and Best Practices”. The two-day event was well attended by 601 delegates from across the country including Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists and OB-GYN Clinicians. The opening ceremonies included welcome remarks by 2025 PSMFM President, Dr. Catherine Joie Carelle R. Ong, opening remarks by 2025 PSMFM Vice-President and 27th Annual Convention Head, Dr. Irene B. Quinio, and a scientific program overview by 2025 Annual Convention Scientific Chair, Dr. Maria Rosario C. Cheng. The two-day 27th Annual Convention was a gathering of healthcare providers that advocate for pregnant women and their unborn children, which aimed to update and enhance the clinical skills for the management of high-risk conditions, and the presentation of recent developments and innovations in the field of maternal-fetal medicine that translate research into clinical practice. The comprehensive lectures, discussions, and presentations were designed for transformative and life-saving learning leading to timely and appropriate diagnosis, judicious management of high-risk conditions, and a better maternal and neonatal outcome, one patient, one fetus, and one neonate at a time.
