Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine is a three (3) part examination that aims to assess mastery of the knowledge and skills in the subspecialty. Competency in the screening, diagnosis and management of the high-risk pregnant patient will be evaluated. from pre-conception until post-partum, including maternal and fetal surveillance as well as appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.<\/p>\n
Beginning 2022, basic gynecologic ultrasound shall be part of the certifying examination. Successful examinees will be given a certificate of proficiency in Maternal Fetal Medicine and proficiency in basic and advanced obstetric ultrasound and basic gynecologic ultrasound.<\/p>\n<\/div>
