Despite the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Philippine Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine was able to hold its 22nd Annual Congress entitled “Multifetal Pregnancy: Management Issues and Dilemmas”. Locally and internationally renowned speakers were able to share their expertise during the well-attended 3-day virtual event which was held on November 26, 28, and 30, 2020.
Day 1 of the Annual Congress focused on the first half of pregnancy. Lecture topics on Day 2 were all about the second half of pregnancy. Unique issues on the second half of pregnancy were discussed on Day 3.
On November 30, 2020, the society was also able to celebrate the induction of new fellows.
This was followed by the annual business meeting and the announcement and induction of the 2021 Board of Trustees.
